Antagonism PSA.
May. 8th, 2012 04:32 pmOKAY everyone was talking about RP comfort levels on Plurk so I figured I'd put a PSA up here. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.
PSA: Erika is a really terrible person! She self-describes as an intellectual rapist! She is not... actually being particularly subtle about this at the moment, but just in case it wasn't obvious. She likes finding people's emotional weakpoints and crushing them mercilessly.
WHAT THIS MEANS: ...There is a high possibility that she will be very unpleasant to talk to! A thread with Erika might be fine and cute, or you might reveal something she wants to dig into and/or trip her insecurity buttons and then it will be less fine and cute. I feel a little silly warning about something that amounts to "she may be mean" but... she may be very mean. She has no real sense of proportion! She won't shy away from sensitive issues or respect personal boundaries and she will attempt to hit people where it hurts most. This will definitely be an IC reaction and not an OOC one, and people should always feel free to communicate with me if they are OOCly uncomfortable with where a thread is going. I am also going to do my best to not infomod and use anything but the information Erika can ICly find out or deduce. If I misstep there please also let me know!
Erika may also eventually be a terrible life ruiner in more elaborate and concrete ways (likely manipulating situations for maximum terrible) but she needs some more memories for that, and also a little bit more justification for her antagonism than she has for anyone so far, so hopefully I will be able to work that out with relevant parties if/when it comes up.
